2011-Present. Garage Arcade

In January 2011 I moved home, fortunately for me the previous owners had extended the standard garage by an extra eight feet or so, this extra space would become my latest arcade and current space to get on with my hobby still leaving plenty of room for all the usual garage clutter.

The three photos below show how thing were for the first six months after moving in...

The extended garage

In the door and look left, my original layout.

In the door and look right, the space that would become my new arcade.

The Conversion. New window, stud walls, stud floor, insulation, electrics carpet and paint.

Out with the old single glazed window.
Stud Walls and floor with insulation going down.

Add some vapour barrier.

Plasterboard  on the walls and ceiling.

Paint (1977 Purple), carpet tiles and the newly fitted double glazed window.

Time for the machines...

I still haven't got the layout of machines satisfactory as of 12/01/13 but here's a few photos of how thing are recently looking.

Machines on the left, work table on the right.

Table gone, Jamma cab and Pole Position now taking up floor space.

I think this was my original layout, all the Atari cabarets lined up to be worked on.

I've since picked up a Lethal Enforcers machine along with a Popeye Pachislo machine so space is getting pretty tight in the garage, but hey in this hobby there's always room for another machine!

Regards, Mart.
